About

Thanks for stopping by my website. I have been a collector of Rock Art for several years now and decided that it would be cool to start wrting about one of my favorite addictions.

The first poster that I ever purchased was an Ames Bros. print from Pearl Jam’s August 29 & 20, 2000 show at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA. I had gone to the show and ran across this poster a few years later on Ebay and had to have it. I forgot what I cost, probably around $30-$40, and then I spent another $100+ to have it professionally framed and matted along with my concert stub from the show. Needless to say, it came out great and that was the start of my collection that now contains 30 plus prints. You can check out my collection here. I haven’t updated my list in a while so I might be missing a few that I have picked up recently.

Of my 30 plus posters, I have nine of them professionally framed which means they have a frame of my choice, between 1-3 mattes, UV blocking non-reflective Plexiglas, and are put together with non-acid materials that enable the poster to be removed from the frame unscathed.

Some of my favorite artists in no particular order include the following: Ames Bros., Brad Klausen, Daniel Danger, Jay Ryan, Scrojo, Jim Pollock, Todd Slater, Invisible Creature, The Decoder Ring, Drowning Creek Studio, Emek, et al. I’m slightly partial to Klausen and the Ames Bros. because I love Pearl Jam, in addition to the fact that Klausen’s stuff rocks along with Ames’ older shit… I hope they get their groove back because we all know what they are capable of. Then I can’t get enough of Daniel Danger work either. His stuff is great.

As far as music goes I love artists such as Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Taking Back Sunday, Kanye West, Fallout Boy, Beastie Boys, Jimmy Eat World, and The Smashing Pumpkins just to name a few.  I’m kind of into the pop-punk scene and dig a lot of artists in that genre… I’m not very conservative when it comes to music.  I’ll listen to almost anything although I’m not really a fan of country music.

Well, I hope I’ve still got your attention… stay tuned in order to keep up to date with all of the latest happenings within the poster world.
